The Intimus 16.50 industrial paper shredder features a high power, thermally protected
7.5 KW geared electric motor which guarantees optimum cutting performance via the
wear resistant, high grade steel cutting rollers. Simple operation with clear function
displays: foil keyboard and operational status display as well as master and key
switches.More and more businesses are cutting the daily flood of paper down to size
with cost-efficient Schleicher shredder/baler systems. The Intimus 16.50 industrial
shredding machine comes with a variety of cutting mechanisms and, of course, only
Schleicher conveyor shredders come with the renowned Schleicher reliability and
service. The microprocessor control reacts to an overload by automaticall initiating
forward/reverse movement to separate the material for shredding prior to entering
the cutting mechanism. Extensive, VDE/GS approved safety systems are provided for
all functions to protect the operator and the machinery. Practical capacity of 1500
pounds per hour. 16 cubic foot catch basket.
